Compressed Memory

Hongkong Average Face

The faces of 10 female and 10 male Hongkongers were compressed to an average face, by a self written computer application. The result was screenprinted and serves as a summarizing memory for the human encounters I made and the time I spent in Hong Kong. It is an attempt to preserve something as intangible as the general sense of life in another culture, in one single image.
